Cookie Policy
Last updated: 15 June 2026
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies (such as browser local storage) work the same way. They help a site function, remember your choices, and understand how it is used. This Policy explains what Connecsi uses and how you can control it. It works alongside our Privacy Policy.
2. Two surfaces, one honest position
Connecsi has two surfaces, and they are treated differently on purpose:
- The product app (app.connecsi.net) uses only strictly-necessary and functional storage — your login session and a single UI-preference value. There is no cookie banner in the app because nothing non-essential runs there.
- The marketing site (connecsi.net) is where optional analytics can run. It is governed by a cookie banner with real, default-denied consent: analytics scripts are not loaded at all until you accept, and rejecting means they never load.
Your consent choice is specific to the marketing site and does not carry over to the app (the two are separate origins). We use no advertising or marketing-tracking cookies anywhere.
3. The categories we use
We group storage into four standard categories. Only the first three are present today; the fourth is listed for transparency and is empty.
- Strictly necessary — required for the Service to work; always active, no consent needed.
- Functional — remembers a UI preference; not used for tracking.
- Analytics — optional, marketing-site only, and only after you accept in the banner.
- Marketing / advertising — none. We set no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
4. What we actually set
Strictly necessary
| Name / technology | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
sb-<project>-auth-token (browser local storage, set by Supabase) |
Keeps you securely logged in | Until you log out / token refresh |
__cf_bm, cf_clearance (set by Cloudflare) |
Bot management, security, traffic routing | __cf_bm ~30 minutes; cf_clearance up to ~1 year |
connecsi_cookie_consent (browser local storage) |
Remembers your cookie-banner choice so we don't re-ask | Until you clear it / withdraw consent |
Note: the Supabase login session and the consent record are stored in browser local storage (a cookie-like technology), not in traditional cookies.
Functional
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
sidebar:state (product app only) |
Remembers whether the app sidebar is expanded or collapsed | ~7 days |
We do not set theme or locale cookies.
Analytics (consent required — marketing site only)
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
_ga, _ga_X6LGW60E9N (Google Analytics 4) |
Anonymous usage measurement so we can improve the site — set only after you accept | Up to ~2 years |
Google Analytics is loaded only once you accept analytics cookies on the marketing site. Before that, no Google Analytics script runs and no _ga cookies are set. (Google's gtag.js may also briefly set short-lived helper cookies such as _gat/_gid while measuring.)
Marketing / advertising
None. Connecsi sets no advertising, retargeting, or cross-site tracking cookies — for example, we do not use Meta/Facebook (_fbp), Google Ads (_gcl_au), LinkedIn (li_sugr), or DoubleClick (IDE) cookies.
5. Managing your consent
On your first visit to the marketing site, the cookie banner lets you accept or reject analytics cookies; analytics will not run until you accept. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using "Manage cookie preferences" on this page, which clears your stored choice and reopens the banner.
You can also control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using Google's opt-out browser add-on. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies may stop parts of the Service from working.
6. Changes and contact
We may update this Policy as our use of cookies changes. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest version. Questions: privacy@connecsi.net — Oxalier Digital Sp. z o.o., Opoczyńska 9/5, 02-522 Warszawa, Poland.
